Galion is proud to have been the home of Galion road graders and road rollers, manufactured here for nearly a century. The dial tone was invented here as well as the development and production of digital telephone switching and the Ericophone. Many other early patented products include the steel burial vault, overcoat, dump bodies and trash compactor dump bodies.
